iARTnet: PROJECT FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES, ERASMUS+ MOBILITY AND DIGITISATION: PRACTICAL TOOLS FOR THE INTERNATIONALISATION OF HIGHER MUSIC EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Info

29-31 gennaio 2026 | | Conservatorio di musica Luca Marenzio, Brescia – Salone Da Cemmo

Descrizione

This three-day international workshop, organised by the AEC – European Association of Conservatoires within the framework of the PNRR project IartNet and hosted by the Conservatorio Luca Marenzio in Brescia, offers a comprehensive and practice-oriented exploration of European funding opportunities and Erasmus+ mobility processes relevant to higher music education institutions.

The event brings together experienced practitioners and experts to guide participants through key EU programmes and tools that support international cooperation, project development, and student and staff mobility. Through a balanced mix of expert presentations, interactive discussion groups, and hands-on demonstrations, participants will gain both a strategic overview and concrete operational skills, especially in relation to the EASY MO system, the AEC’s European Application System for Mobility in Higher Music Education.

On 29 January, the focus will be on European project funding opportunities, including Creative Europe, Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), Jean Monnet Actions, International Credit Mobility (KA171), and University Alliances, with IN.TUNE presented as a concrete example in the music field. Participants will work in groups to reflect on how these funding lines can support their own institutional strategies and project ideas.

On 30 and 31 January, the programme will move to Erasmus+ mobility, with in-depth sessions on KA131 rules, shared principles, and implementation challenges for student and staff mobility. The workshop will also include an extensive EASY MO training, featuring practical demonstrations of semester mobility applications, digital learning agreements, short mobilities, and Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) within the EASY Mobility Online system.

The event is designed for staff of higher music education institutions who work in the field international relations and management of Erasmus+ offices, who wish to strengthen their understanding of the European funding landscape while gaining practical tools for day-to-day implementation.

In particular, the sessions dedicated to the EASY MO system are meant as an intensive training for EASY MO internal users, while the sessions dedicated to project funding and mobility can be attended by any IRC who missed the dedicated sessions at the IRC Meeting in Budapest. Participants can decide which session/s to attend by indicating their preferences in the Registration Form (compulsory to attend the event)

Participation is free of charge. Participants are just asked to fill in a Registration Form
The event is open to all AEC member institutions, with a maximum of 70 participants, admitted on a first come, first served basis. Participants may support their travel costs through Erasmus+ Staff Training (STT) funds. Please write to Pierangelo Pelucchi and Sara Zubini at international@consbs.it to sign the forms.
